City Gather

Upholding the harmony of natural ecology and urban life, the designer takes urban forest as the theme with ecology, vitality and pleasure as the keywords in this forest-style community park. Vegetation, light and shadow, deer, winding paths, landscape installations give people sensory enjoyment. Parent-child interaction, fun play and daily social contact are integrated, and facilities such as the deer house slide, the colorful runway, the seesaw and fitness equipment become artistic media linking nature, the community and the outside. Here, beautiful experiences and emotions constantly erupt.

City Fields

The project site is known as the Waterfront Rural Gallery, Leisure Vacation Paradise, and National Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone, and the city's unique characteristics are the inspiration for the design. The designer integrates natural spaces such as farmland, mountains, and water into the urban design of the high-speed rail station area, combining the needs of industrial development and the requirements of the comprehensive transportation hub construction. This concept of natural and urban integration has formed a distinct and easily recognizable image feature for the city.

Kukuk Box

Brought by truck, unfolded, swung and set up - the new playground is ready! KuKuk Box is a new category of extraordinary public playgrounds for children. Made of shipping containers, natural wood and stainless steel, it creates a magical space that invites children to climb, swing, jump and balance. The new look is a perfect combination of industrial design and traditional craftsmanship that brings fun and joy to a new generation, mobile and trendy.

Scenic Path

The project, of which 800m are already complete, is set within a broader intervention for the city of Igualada that seeks to generate paths and cycle lanes in the form of a green belt around the edge of the city. This new green mobility crosses a very run-down site where gypsum used to be mined, a place later used as a waste transfer station, with problems of runoff damage and landslips. The proposal has two main objectives: connectivity, continuing the city-scale project, and landscape and biodiversity recovery, to generate a new dynamic that will gradually improve its environmental conditions.

Play Garden for Yuecheng Kindergarten

Utilization of the open rooftop space made it possible to enhance the kindergarten's edutainment needs without sacrificing the preservation of the historic courtyard buildings and trees. The rubberized playground surface material cloaks the entire roof in varying hues of earth tones and provides a safe and comfortable surface on which the children can run, jump, fall, laugh, crawl and climb. The rich colors were derived from the vibrant pallet of colors that wrap the eves of the ancient Chinese buildings, further referencing the connection between the old and new.

Chosen One

The artistic front yard, the light and shadow corridor, the dewdrop sculpture, and the mirrored waterscape build an immersive and wonderful space experience. The back yard gradually start from the water ramp which connect the sky. After walking up the steps, people can stroll through in the floating swimming pool, enjoy the leisure vacation. The hotel-style meeting space in front of the building invites clients enjoy a lazy life, accompany them and families listen to the future story together.
